Some people go out for lunch, or out to the park or the beach, or a movie, when they go on a date.
Other people -- say, Tahiri and Ben -- tended to consider dates more like fighting Fandom's latest random invaders and then going for ice cream. Or, as in this case, heading into the junkyard with ice cream. (And boots, in Tahiri's case; she wasn't that stubbornly idiosyncratic about her lack of footwear that she'd go barefoot in here.)
"I already know it's an older model than you're used to," Tahiri told Ben as they headed toward where her X-Wing was parked, "so you don't need to keep reminding me about that, okay?"
